Abernethy Golf Club is a beautiful 9 whole course set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Near the village of Nethybridge and Aviemore. Established in 1893. On most days, it is possible to walk on without a reserved tee time. Families are welcome and handicap certificates are not required. For those without clubs we have a few sets for hire. It's a traditional Highland golf course, built on natural moorland, and surrounded by majestic pine trees. It has a real friendly feel and a lovely little unlicensed clubhouse. Take care on the second hole, par three over the Lochan. |

An 18 hole par 70 course situated by the River Dee, Ballater, Royal Deeside. Ballater Golf Club was founded in 1892. Several holes lie close to the River Dee and many a ball has gone to a watery grave. Ballater and its golf course lie within a circle of hills with glorious views, a delightful golfing experience. The Clubhouse at Ballater is a very large, spacious and commodious building, recently refurbished to a very high standard. It provides excellent bar and catering facilities. Open to visitors and all levels of golfer.

Glenlivets only course near Tomintoul, they have created a heady mix of challenging golf and aesthetic appeal. Ballindalloch Castle golf course with its nine holes and eighteen tees, the course provides a fair test for golfers of all standards and is well placed to become known as the finest course in Scotland with this particular configuration. The course is set on the banks of the River Avon, among 150 year old trees and with marvellous views of the surrounding purple heather-clad hills and native birch woods. |

The Boat of Garten 18 hole golf course, also known as 'The Boat', established in 1898 and designed by James Braid, is not only a demanding test of sporting skill but also a magnificent setting for the game along the river Spey near Aviemore. If you are not hitting straight this course can gobble you up and spit you out. This renowned course will test the golfer's skill to the limit and is often referred to as The Gleneagles of the north because of its difficulty. The club house is a good size and also boast a tennis club. A must when visiting the Aviemore area. |

Braemar 18 hole Golf Club was founded in March 1902. Braemar is the highest 18 hole golf course in Britain at around 1,200 feet above sea level. The greens are amongst the finest in the area and the course is very popular with holiday makers and golfing societies. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the facilities at Braemar Golf Club and the friendly work hard to ensure you enjoy your visit in Royal Deeside. This Cairngorms golf course is a must for all golfing historians. |

Carrbridge Golf Club, provides a nine-hole golf course with full facilities in the Highlands of Scotland. It is a lively, vibrant, dedicated Scottish Golf Club amidst some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever wish to see. Being a small Highland course lends Carrbridge the character it enjoys. The unlicensed clubhouse is known affectionately as the tin shed, thanks to its corrugated iron roof. A great little course near Aviemore if you have a few hours spare. |

Craggan Golf Course is an all par 3 course suitable for all standards of golfer, children and beginners are welcome. This parkland course situated just outside of Grantown-on-Spey and a short drive from Aviemore. It boasts magnificent views of the Cairngorm mountains and the signature hole is the 12th, 162 yards downhill onto a two tiered green and over a small pond. There are few places a golfer could be happier on a sunny summers evening than here! |

Grantown-on-Spey Golf Course is situated 15 miles north of Aviemore, the course measures 5710 yards, with a par of 70. Though not long, it presents a fair challenge for every calibre of golfer. The club house has a large lounge bar and dining area. The golf club also has a well-stocked golf shop with a good range of all golfing equipment. The signature hole of the course is Murdie's View, the 275 yard 9th, a short downhill reachable par 4. |

Kingussie Golf Course offers moderately easy walking on upland terrain, with a few hard climbs at the 4th and 8th holes. In general the fairways are of a generous nature, but the Kingussie course is deceptive and position off the tee is an important factor and key to a low score. The course is kept in immaculate order and offers excellent greens and fairways. It has one of the finest looking club houses in the Aviemore and Cairngorms area. |

Newtonmore Golf Course lies along the banks of the River Spey in the heart of Monarch of the Glen country. The 18 hole course is surrounded by some of the most dramatic and beautiful highland scenery. Blair Atholl Golf Cousre, is a classic James Braid 18 hole design, using natural contours to best effect, and has been augmented recently with the addition of several ponds crafted in local stonework. It is generally easy-walking parkland with short climbs to and from a plateau, which is a prominent feature affording fine views from the clubhouse and elevated tee and green positions for several of the holes. |
