This scenic area of Scotland has an abundance of tourist attractions, both leisurely and active, to suit all tastes and ages. Ospreys can be observed on their nests at the nearby centre, a steam train takes regular trips to Aviemore and the funicular railway takes visitors well up the Cairngorm mountains in summer and winter. Heating: Electric off-peak storage heaters and electric convector heaters. Inverness with its airport is within easy travelling distance and should you wish to tour Scotland this cottage is very centrally placed. Fans of the TV series Monarch of the Glen will appreciate visits to the film locations around the area.
