Ballieward Steading is a traditional detached stone-built cottage converted from an old croft steading. It is adjacent to the owners house surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet country location. Set in the Cairngorms National Park, the Steading is only 1 ½ miles from the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey. It is surrounded by fields and woodlands full of nesting birds in springtime. The sitting room windows command a panoramic view of the Cromdale Hills. This immaculate property is maintained to the highest standards. It is fully equipped and the price includes electricity, white bed linen and towels. The two double bedrooms accommodate up to four people. There is a separate bathroom and shower room. Tasteful decor and comfortable, modern furnishings (including satellite TV) combine to make this a delightful holiday home.
There is private off road parking for two cars and sitting out areas around the garden. The Steading is an ideal base for visiting attractions throughout the North of Scotland. It is near to the Whisky Trail, the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Cairngorm funicular, Loch Ness and the Loch Garten Osprey Centre. Take a trip to the many impressive mountains, castles, rivers and lochs in the surrounding area. It is the perfect location for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, bird watching, ski-ing and water sports.
